"Alexandra", pure Malagousia, made from one of the best white grape varieties in Greece. It is wonderfully fragrant, with aromas of peach, pear, citrus and bergamot. Invigorating, fresh and juicy on the palate.

After a maceration of 4 months, the wine is clarified by agitation and the batonnage also has the effect that the wine gains roundness and fullness, giving it its fruity, creamy taste. Tasting Notes: Projects a light yellowish color note with some gray highlights. Intense aromatic character of citrus fruits, white-skinned tropical fruits and light notes of white flowers. Delicate mouthfeel with a pleasant acidity, rich aftertaste and a unique floral flavor on the palate. Claudia Papayianni Energetic, energetic and determined, she has managed to place exceptional wines from her own winery on the market within just a few years. Yellow-green, with explosive aromas and an elegant mouth, the Greek favorite proves every day that it is a world-class selection and its wines seem to be gaining ground on the world wine map. Claudia Papayianni's daughter is called Alexandra. That's what she called her favorite white wine. Alexandra from Domaine Claudia Papayianni is rightly one of the best Malagouzias in Greece and confirms this every year. It owes this in part to the sea breeze, which cools the extremely hot summer afternoons and gives the fruit the time it needs to ripen perfectly. Due to the two-month stay on the yeast at low temperatures and regular batonage, all the fruity varietal characteristics are transferred to the wine and give it vitality and freshness. Forget the oh-so-typical resinated wine that you can get served in almost every Greek eatery. That roughly corresponds to the reputation that German wine enjoyed abroad not so long ago – our “Liebfrauenmilch” was best known there, not exactly a highlight of German viticulture, but an export hit.
